We DON'T USE any screen prints or paints to create numbers or tracks on cribbage board. Both the tracks and numbers on board are carved on natural Maple. The tracks are leveled with box height for your ease of playing and moreover the numbers on tracks are also carved and not painted or screen printed. The board completely lays out flat when open.

The Folding cribbage box provides storage space for 1 deck of playing cards and also separate section for 9 cribbage pegs. Soft maroon velvet felt has been applied inside the storage section and free velvet cover is also provided to protect the board.

good point. I live in Japan and received my order promptly, about a week after ordering. That is wonderful. I was also amazed at the artistic construction. The price is a great value for this craftsmanship. Then, the inside compartment was a little different in design from the picture. When the box was opened and used as a cribbage board, four rubber feet could be attached. This is a great ingenuity, and the rubber feet have magnets on them to securely protect the board and table. And it stored perfectly. I think this is the best spec change I've ever seen. A few disappointments. The pegs were different from the ones in this picture. They were the same pegs that came with the other boards sold on this site. They are the three bulging pegs you often see. I wanted the pegs pictured here. Then, when two people play together, the remaining pegs have to be taken out of the box and stored somewhere. You cannot play cribbage with the pegs left in the box. It would have been better if something could have been done here as well. That is all. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. No problems using the pegs either. They just have a different design.
